Orange

In August I bought an Orange contract mobile phone online. It was a student deal and in all I signed up for:
120 minutes anytime anynetwork each month, 1000 texts each month for £25

Also as the phone that I chose was a Samsung I got a free football shirt.

I have still not received the football shirt, I have contacted Orange several times about this now and have still not reveived it!

Has anyone else signed up for this offer and received their shirt?

Sounds like a scam offer to me. Was it sub-contracted out to a third party company to distribute the shirts? or did it say in the t&cs about "Until stocks last"?

If it doesn't say anything like that in your contract then Orange are breaking the terms of their own contract by not providing you with a product which they agreed they would send to you.

Well in the last email that I received from them they said:

Thank you for your mail.

With regard to your football shirt query. I can confirm that I have once again added you onto the spreadsheet which is sent to Samsung.

Samsung then send you the link to order your shirt, however, there is a delay in them doing so.
I apologise for the inconvenience this is causing yourself.

I would exactly say they are inconveniencing me but its just annoying - I am not even interested in football - the shirt just happened to come with the phone I was after! Its just the principle of the matter! I have fired another email off to them!

I'm not interested in football but I would still get the shirt because you could sell it or give it away when you get it.

Keep persisting because they will probably action it further if they keep receiving emails from you.

Oh I am not one for giving up! Even when I am down - which is most of the time as I am long term ill at the moment - I can give some people a fight! When I go in for a fight I go in for a fight!

Just had reply from Orange asking for details of the football shirt that I was after! Great service after my email complaining of 5 month delay! Lol. The email just happened to go direct to the customer service person that dealt with my query last time instead of to their general email address!
