When trying to use windows media player to download a TV recording to CD .
I keep on getting a error message download failed due to codec COODIO9B not present.Iv tryed microsoft ,in hope but no luck there.Anyone know where i can downlaod this codac from,please. :rolleyes:

What version of media player are you using. The latest is version 10 (I think :rolleyes:) so make sure you have the latest version.
I have had similar problems before where updating media player version fixed it.0 -

I wouldnt waste my time with wmp10 or less, utter rubbish top heavy hungry resource program. There are far better players that take up less resources than wmpX
Try mediaplayer classic http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/
or zoomplayer http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml
Vlc Player (requires no codecs) http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
