I know B&Q have a 15% off sale on at the moment, but is this the best place to buy painting and decorating materials? We're planning on buying enough to do 3 large rooms
Any suggestions?

BQ or wickes for cheap paint etc...
if you take a pensioner to BQ on wednsdays, they get another 10% off, with a special discount card. (free).
well worth it when buying a large amount/value of items.

I think the prices between B&Q/Wickes/Focus are all very similar I found one thing in one shop would cost more, but something else cheaper, so unless the stores are next to each other it's probably not worth the petrol money worrying about it.
For paint it's worth looking out for deals such as 3 for 2 as this can work out better value.
Focus do a 10% homemovers discount for 6 months if you've just moved in. This is on top of deals in store.0
