Well the banana cakes went down a treat with DS, DH and the dog (he got the bits thrown off the high chair by DS!
The recipe is:

3 1/2 oz butter
2 ripe bananas mashed
1 beaten egg
7 oz SR flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 1/2 oz raisins

Preheat oven to GM4
Cream butter and bananas together
Mix in milk and egg
Fold in flour, baking powder and raisins
Divide mixture between paper cases and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.

This made me 12 fairy cakes, I'm sure the recipe could be adapted to make a loaf.......

The receipe is from a brilliant book I got for Christmas - Finger Food for Babies & Toddlers by Jennie Maizels. Would highly recommend it as a lot of the receipe in there can be made bigger for DH lunchbox too!

Oh no! I'm all set to make this now but it doesn't say how much milk to add, does anyone know???

I got impatient and made some anyway, sloshed in about 1/2 pint of milk and they turned out lovely, I haven't tried them as can't stand bananas but my little boy is really enjoying one on my lap as a type!
