help! BCA unscrupulous inertia DVD sales

    I hope you get it sorted ASAP. Disgusting sales tactics:mad:
    I got the apology letter from 'journies with wildlife' /beagle direct about a week to 10 days after my complaint and TS letter.
    I was impressed with local trading standard.

  • I was also stupid enough to sign up for this. I returned the DVD weeks ago but I didn't send it recorded delivery and now they are still trying to charge me for the DVD.

    I have never been able to reach them on this number and everyone at the other BCA numbers refuses to help.

    I have also rung Consumer Direct and to be honest they weren't much help either. They just said that it could be a bit of a problem and told me to look in the terms and conditions of the offer.

    What can I do??????

    send them a strong letter of complaint, and send a copy to your local Trading Standard dept.

    Do you have proof of posting? Could come in useful in getting RM to pay for it if BCA 'eventually' deny receiving the return.

    ...And, depending on what you have said to BCA, do they have proof of delivery to your address?

    They rang up today demanding to speak to my mother. Sadly she died last July. My son took the call and said that she'd "passed on" and was asked when she'd be back. You've got to laugh ;)

    Follow Up:
    I wrote a letter, sent it RECORDED delivery and copied in trading standards. They have since contacted me and said I will not be required to pay any money and can keep the DVDs. Thanks again for your help.
