Is Micrososft anti-spyware update due?

Yesterday whilst I was offline. My internet dial up connection pop up with the message with the microsoft website address and saying there is a big antispyware update and I should connect to do it. How do I check for update , it's expires in July? Is this the nor? Thanks

No, the AntiSpyware program isn't due for update. The pop-up was probably just telling you that new spyware definitions are available to download. Simply click on Spyware Definitions in the System Summary to update them. The latest version on my machine is 5797.
