Would you revise f/b?

The buyers leaving negs didn't put this woman on the dole though, she did that herself. Also if you read the OP this seller apparently has some sort of staff working for her, maybe she needs to take it up with them instead. Why employ someone and stillf ail to keep buyers happy. Most of us sellers manage quite happily to keep our buyers happy without having any extra staff.
Don't fall for the ebay propaganda.
Stuff happens, why should someone be put out of business just because they made a mistake?
I assume that you've *never* made a mistake or had something go wrong?
Fact is that ebay are trying to get rid of sellers, this reduces choice and will put up prices, something that goes against the money saving mantra.

I think it is just a excuse too as she has had 86 negs in a yr and 130 neturals. Plus at least 10 more neg have been revised to positives and that was only on the first few pages.

Thank you all for your replies.
The Seller had a manager and other staff working for her when she was ill according to her 2 emails.
She says she has been ill for couple months but the neg and neturals go back 12 months so i kinda feel it is not just since she has been that the service hasnt been great.
I am going to stick by the neg as i genuinely feel its the right thing to do. I did everything i could before giving the f/b (waited a month after paying to open dispute, sent numerous emails and never had one reply back etc).

Personally I would leave the neg - you waited a month before opening a dispute - provided the seller was still breathing, they had time in this period to get someone to contact you and either arrange the item or a refund.0

If she really was ill she's hardly going to take the trouble contacting you over a bottle of shampoo is she ? Obviously the saintly sellers on here would have got out of their death beds to keep their customers happy but this is the real world. See what she's offering you first, you might be able to bump it up to something worthwhile.Wins: pink kids laptop

Does that also apply to all the other 86 people who felt strongly enough to leave a non positive as well.

86 out of good knows how many satisfied customers, she's still got 99.5% positive feedback so can't be doing everything wrong. As a powerseller they'll be a few negs in there for the of of it
.
Also the OP even states over the last month there seems to be quite a few negs coming in with the same problems so surely that points to something or other occuring in the last month. You shouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions soolin.Wins: pink kids laptop

A powerseller gets a lot more leeway feedback and buyer satisfaction wise than normal sellers. Therefore your statement "so can't be doing everything wrong" would appear to be in error as she is obviously doing more wrong that is just indicated by feedback. at 99.5 % assuming monthly figures are good she wouldn't get suspended, it must therefore be seller warnings, policy breaches and/or stars as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Easy enough to ask someone else too though, if she was really that ill and knew it would be a long time before she could deal with it.
eBay is obviosly important enough for her to be contacting people now to get the feedback removed !0 -
No I would never revise it. Feedback is based on the sevice you received from that seller. It does not matter if they are now making excuses. If you revise it and they continue trading and giving their new customers a bad ebay experience part of that would be down to you (feeling sorry for them)0
