run and remove all it finds

(ps, suspect your friend has the problem , not you )

was not a dig at you about downloading stuff, was pointing out to the earlier poster that AVG is not the problem

I have already deleted all temp files. Do I still need to run the cleaner link?

i had used norton with no problems and had to have some things fixed on my laptop and the guy who did this took off norton and used AVG and you guested it about 3 weeks ago it all went belly up and i lost a lot of things and had a nasty virus and it took about a week to get it sorted and hubby put the norton back on again .... all very well but i'm a bit of a tech on fob :mad:

It should be unless Malwarebytes isn't picking it up. But i think your friend probably got it from somewhere else. Lots of viruses going around at the moment.

I'm not sure if he means in addition to malware or instead of?
I'm just a bit relictant to download too much spyware in case they fight eachother! I have already posted the malware log

Its why I asked you to use HIJACK
If your computers infected, then it should come up in the scan
