You could try to take it back , and get a replacement  just say its not working and something seems to be loose

worth a try, i think
If you open the wii it will void your warranty:o0 -
There are usually console repair workshops at my local computer fairs (manchester) might be worth a google. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.

exactly what i would suggest. Tell them it's scratching your disks & you would like a replacement. You could try to take it back , and get a replacement  just say its not working and something seems to be loose

Thankyou to all who replied I called Nintendo and told them the truth it may a loose screw or maybe a penny from my daughter and they are sending me a freepost sticker, will look at it, if it is indeed a penny the cost is £27.40 to remove and if any damage or irrepairable the max is £65 incl removing the offending article, whatever the outcome. If a screw come losse it is free and they will replace the game it has also scratched.
Thank guys can always count on here x x x x0 -
The best thing is to return it to the place it was bought, its only 2 weeks old tell them it won't play disks and has dammaged the one you tried. I wouldn't tell them you think your daughter has put somthing in side it at all.
and buy a shelf to put it on so your daughter can't put anything else in there. Why send it to Nintendo when some shops will test it and try it out if they are being anal but most will just hand over a new console with it being less than a month old.0
