Bauer media (Match magazine)

Got my 8 year old a subscription to Match magazine with Tesco vouchers for Christmas. We had a confirmation letter before Christmas to say his first issue would be the 30th December one.

It didn't arrive. I phoned Bauer on Monday and they told me the date on the letter was wrong and that this weeks issue has already been posted.

So far nothing has come :mad: . My son has waited for the postie every day since last Tuesday and is starting to get a bit upset now.

Has anyone else had a problem with this publisher?

Magazine arrived today so youngest DS very happy. :T

Hopefully it will arrive a bit sooner next week - it comes out on a Tuesday.

Both my husband and myself have had magazine subscriptions in the past and I wouldn't bother again - it was very rare for either of us to receive the magazine before it was available in the shops.

Must depend on the Magazine. I've subscribed to .net magazine for the past 3 years and it has always arrived at least 3 days before it goes on sale without fail.

This is a monthly magazine though, I can see where weekly ones may have issues.

my ten year old brother gets the match subscription through tesco vouchers and it has always arrived on the right day so hopefully it was just a bad start for you and they will get it right from now on.
