Problem with reverse bid website, funkbet.com..please help

Hi all,
I have recently seen some adverts online and articles in the paper about the reverse auction websites and thought I'd have a go.
I joined funkbet.com and last week was lucky enough to win an item worth £200.
I had been watching the website for some time before joining and read though all the info etc.
After winning the item it stated that I had won it and has my name if you click on the 'closed auctions' tab as the winner.
In the information it says that you will get an email after winning to tell you the amount to pay and a link to pay it but you only have 10 days from the end of the auction to do this.
This was 6 days ago and I have had no email. It has not been blocked as I recieved other emails from them when I registered. I have sent 2 emails in the contact us tab and had no reply and also tried the phone number for ejunction who own the site (engaged tone all the time)
Trouble is I now have £30 credits in my account and cannot withdraw this from them without incurring a £20 fee and also no email to get the prize I won!?!?!?!
Any advice would be great?

Yup, you've been pretty much scammed, and quite legally so too, so there is little chance of a come back.
Any site that asks you to pay for bids is a rip-off, avoid like the plague! We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -

Hi,
Thanks for replies. This site has been in the news papers (the times did a review with pictures of the winners etc so do not think it is a scam. I have emailed them but got no reply? Just wondered if they were in trouble as something has obviously gone wrong?0 -

Hi - the site is no scam!
Please just email support@funkbet.com and someone will help you out!
That was your first post, and I have a feeling that you probably work for them.
ALL auction sites that make you pay for bids are a scam, why should you have to pay for the privilege of bidding? We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
