i scottish building society
beleive this to be a small run building society anyone know anything about it wanted to put some money in it but not sure with whats going on in the ecomomy just now if it would be safe enough
any advice would be very grateful

In all correspondence that they have sent to me recently, they make great claims that they have absolutely positively no sub prime connections whatsoever. On a more irritable note however, you will need to provide I.D. every time that that you open a NEW account even though you may be an existing member. (could be a bit of a pain if you are not a local)0

there was great pressure on them to take on sub-prime----having halifax bank of scotland and royal bank of scotland supposedly making great profits on these
