those people looking rough , smelly and stinking of stale fags were probably the GENUINE claimants that have had some advice over the benefits board from other GENUINE claimants that tell people to stay up all night, smoking and drinking so the look really rough for their medicals.
Check out some of the threads if you think I'm jokin.

Sorry but your WRONG nobody on the benefits forum who is a regular gives such advice anyone who does gets told off by the good regular posters for doing so fraud is not tolerated by the genuine like me because it reflects on us, it makes us look like scrounging scum when we are not most claimants are genuine and honest.

If you feel a post on that board is unacceptable use the report function to have it removed.

That's what annoys me about things. If you're in the loop of knowledge you know these things. In fact, those in the loop of knowledge make you feel like !!!!!! for not knowing/doing what they would. But there's no one chair to plonk yourself down on and say "Look, this is me, this is my list of stuffs .... now, what's realistic ... and where's that... so how would I .... and what about ...."

I know what you mean i had to educate myself about the system a lot and i have now found out that many mistakes were made with my claims for benefit over the years.

You know whats even worse the system says that you can only backdate 3 months for most benefits but if you dont know they benefit exists then how do you know if you can claim? they expect you to know they dont care if your too ill to even claim as i was at the time its your fault simple as that.

What if the advice you are given at the jobcentre while claiming the advisor doesnt know all the rules and entitlements on offer and you dont claim everything? nothing because you should know the rules.

Now if you happen to then learn about some of this stuff so you can help yourself and in turn you then wish to try and help others like you then what happens? you get accused of being someone who is playing the system thats what.

    Seriously cant win.

This is the biggest problem facing all DWP/Benefits/HB Staff - 3 different organisations do the processing , and guess what there processed in 3 different offices -it's bonkers.

I've only ever encountered the Job Centre once, after I returned from travelling, I went in immediately as I didn't know how long it would take me to find work and that it was probably the done thing (I got a job myself 3 weeks later as it turns out).

When I first made a claim, I was told I couldn't apply for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit until my claim was processed. It took them three and a half months to process the claim (for the three weeks I was out of work) by which time it was too late and of course it didn't matter that I was told not to apply. I should have known to apply already.

I've decided that if I'm ever in the same situation I would very reluctantly go back.

But when you make new claim you are given all the forms for jsa/hb/council tax and its all done at the same time at jobcentre

It is, but they are PROCESSED elsewhere, HB and CTB by the local authority, JSA by job centre staff, Icome Support/Incapacity by the local benefits office etc.

It's a nightmare for claimants and staff alike.
