Well this is first pay day since getting rid of Abbey and i've transferred my car/present/haircut amounts to my savings account.
I havent transferred my house savings yet as im out for a birthday tomorrow and I was in desperate need of some new jeans so have ordered a couple of pairs.
This is my first clothing spends for quite a while so was very much needed.
I'll be transferring what i can on Monday to my house savings and will update then!
What has everyone got planned for the weekend?
Time for a :coffee:
I hope you ordered them via a cashback site!
How come you are still saving £50 per month for car maintenance and MOT when you've got a newer car?
Great to read about your progress and the £50 squares!
I'm using a sealed pot that I bought from a Hawkins Bazaar. You have to destroy it by opening it with a can opener so there is no temptation to dip into it!

Hi B_O_S
I didnt order them via a cashback site as they werent on there but they were on sale so the two pairs cost me £23.99 including postage so wasnt too bad!
I have a newer car but saving £50 a month is only £600 a year in maintenance. Of that services will take up approx £300 so its not a huge amount left over for repairs if something goes wrong. Once i get upto a decent buffer in that account (probably abotu £600) i will stop saving into it and put the money towards my house savings but knowing my cars they will need some work done at somepoint and i would rather have extra than not enough.
Hi Mickey,
Yea im managing its called the fill button :rotfl:
Im not a Man U fan but would rather see them beat chelsea!Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Hey Dragon, one :coffee:!
How are you? Hows things with Dr Dragon? Did you have a good xmas & new year?
They are going towards a few bits for my new car this time
But after that they will be going towards the savings and i'll be changing them up every £50 instead of every £60 so that it is in line with my squares!Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

Dr Dragon is fine thank you EAMD, I had a bad fall on the snow/ice last Tuesday but I am recovering okay. Job hunting for Dr Dragon is happening slowly, and we are just playing a waiting game!
