Lost tenancy agreement

hello, just a quick one - i've lots of things in storage at the moment including my tenancy aggreement - is my landlord duty bound to give me another copy? bit of a weird question but needing an answer...

    They are not duty bound to give you another copy but nor can I think of any reason why they would not - they would need to produce it in court if there was any disagreement over the terms anyway.

    They could charge you the cost of photocopying and postage if they want.
  • they should give you one, i lost one before and managed to get a copy for no charge
