EDF Discounts - How is it applied?

I'm looking to switch my energy supplier and EDF has a tariff that looks attractive.

It's the "Online Version 6 Dual Fuel" tariff via USwitch.

As part of this tariff the following "discounts" are applied:

Dual Fuel Discount: £25.20
Gas Direct Debit: £16.80
Electrictiy Direct Debit Discount: £8.40
(Total: £50.40)

Can anyone tell me how they are applied though?

For example, NPower offer similar discounts, but they are credited to your account only after 12 months.

I'm unlikely to be in my current property in 12 months, so any discounts offered need to be split equally over each monthly payment for them to come into the equation for me, ie a £4.20 reduction on the direct debit per month (£50.40 divided by 12).
