ebay pulled my listing for copyright violation

i listed an original item, but the manufacturer reported it for violating intellectual property rights.

i had a number of bids on the item whi was due to finish tonight, i know who the highest bidder was, but is there a way of going back to find out the other bidders?

everything i did was above board and i'm really unsure of what i did wrong.

thanks

    guess that explains all

    thanks again fay
  • Are you sure it was the manufacturer who reported it? Firstly check on ebay to see how many other items like yours are listed, if there are none then yes could have been manufacturer but if there are still others, then It could just be another seller who wanted you out of the way so they could sell theirs.

Reword your item, reword your title, use another picture and relist.....for a shorter length of time....also ensure that you don't list next to any other seller.........if that is at all possible....

    yes

[FONT=Arial, Verdana]Although there may be similar items currently listed on eBay, please be assured that your listings have not been targeted in any way. We review all listings that are reported to us by eBay members and participants in the VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) Programme, and we rely on these reports to help keep eBay a safe and reputable place to buy and sell.

there's also an email address for liz earle if i want to query why they asked for it to be removed

  • did you include a pic and if so, where was the pic from? i had a clinique listing pulled once as i used one of their pics unaware of what vero was! also, if you copy any of thier text like discriptions or wording on packaging, they will pull it.
    ;)
