Thanks I will ring up hv and find out,my little girl is autistic ,so hopefully I may be able to get them, thank you

Mine too! If you are under a specialist team (eg CAMHS or CDT) they should know about this, if your GP based HV doesn't.

When the time is right for your little one by the way, I strongly recommend a book called "Toilet Training on the Autistic Spectrum" by Maria Wheeler. Lots of great ideas as to how to overcome common AS barriers to toileting. My LO is 7 now and non verbal with severe learning difficulties but she is clean and dry day and night now, which I never thought I'd ever see!

Have been to GP who says nothing's wrong - junior also does it sometimes during the day if he's engrossed in something, so the consensus is he's just a bit lazy/slower than average. Once he gets to 8, if he's still doing it then it's back to the GP....

in our area the specialist enuresis clinic will help from age 7, but when we started there they had a long waiting list, so if possible get yourself on the list before your son is 8...

The advice given by freebiequeenie is spot on :) just what they said to us at the clinic. There's also a specialist website you might find useful...
