A&L card, is it worth asking for a deal?

I paid off my A&L card a few months ago and asked them at the time to close the account, however they haven't done that and it is still open with about £1200 credit limit.
Is it worth ringing them and asking if they have any BT deals on at the moment?, I can't seem to get another favourable card at present due to my credit rating, there is nothing adverse on my file at all but I think it is due to current high debt level (even though we have paid a fair whack off over the last year), but my husbands A&L card has a rate of 30% at the moment so would like to BT what he owes on there to this card if we can have a LOB transfer rate
Does anyone have a phone number for them to try?

Always worth a call, but ring loyalty direct on 0800 783 1116.
You won't be able to BT directly between the two A&L cards (apologies if you already knew that), so will have to use the SBT feature instead.0
