what is it that one should look for when purchasing a steam generator? Does it have anything to do with psi? How does this compare?0

Before someone comes on here and says "how can you spend xxx on an iron" believe me the steam generators cut the ironing time at least in half; I got a Rowenta a couple of years ago - no looking back since. Good find OP and 1carminestocky!The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

i totally agree. Bought one 2 years ago and it was half price reduced to £115 (argos) a tefal one...
i had it a week before i opened the box as i didnt think i sould justify spending all that on an iron...best money i ever spent...could never go back to an ordinary iron.........:j :j :j :j0 -
I hear all you say about speed of ironing but still, £85 quid for an iron - think of the beer that'd buy!!I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

got a morphy richards one when they were on offer on their website for £40 at the time wouldnt have thought about paying any more but having had this one for a year would definately by another again and even at a more expensive price. the more grams of steam the better and a constant steam would be good, ours you need to press the button all of the time which can be a pain0
