Blimey!
I went to work for the day and there's 3 more pages!
Hi to everyone - we had another 3 inches of snow when I got up this morning - most of it's gone now as it was sunny during the day but now we have thick fog:eek:.
Was it rusty who was after a pink bucket? Have seen them in Wilcos.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Thankyou Rainmac, My gifly has to have startrite shoes cause clarks are too narrow even on the widest fitting  will have a look later and see what and if things are selling, I may well just do buy it nows and quote for courier or free collection.... I don't mind posting things just that sometimes people aren't happy to pay the £7 for a courior yet it would be more expensive at the post office!!!
Paddingtondoo - yes it was me ... my local has none!!! thats not fair ... I will have a look in a couple of different ones see if I can find ... I hope to be heading to Durham over the next couple of days to meet up with bunbun so I may find something up there
Well ladies how thrifty can you get ... I am registered with freecycle and opt in for the emails as soon as things are posted ... well last night someone posted up a dolls house so I emailed back and politely asked for it ... I picked it up at 2:30 this afternoon and whilst it needs work doing as it was an unfinished project it is absolutely beautiful and Free!!! I even get to decorate it all ... I can't wait to get started ... once finished then both of my children will have hours of fun from it, my son even wants to help me decorate it
I need to ask on freecycle for small scraps of carpet so I can put carpet down and decorate the walls ... will take some pics of it later on to show you my bargainhas saved me at least £20-£30 cause I would have bought a new one which probably wouldn't have lasted half as long!

:hello: Hi
Can I come back in please ?
I came in a few weeks ago but then life got in the way and I couldn't keep up with the thread.
I just wanted to ask which online survey sites do any of you use ?. I've read the thread but wanted to ask your opinions. Thanks.
I do Valued Opinions surveys and get vouchers from it, intend to save them up for Xmas spending later in the year. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I do lightspeed as well as valued opinions - have had £30 of amazon vouchers since xmas and got OH all 6 Star Wars dvds for £1.45 (I had a toluna one as well).
He was very impressed with all his pressies on Saturday- don't think he'd had so many for years :rotfl: didn't like to tell him how much I'd actually spent.
His favourite thing atm is taking the mick out of the DFS advert where it says no more than £500 said mum - he chips in with no more than £2.50 says Debbie :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I feel embarassed now that my posts are all rambling and nothing substantial
I have updated my blog today with my latest work:
http://pinkladymel.blogspot.com
Rainmac, as soon as I saw that heart I thought OMG they nicked your idea!!
The valentines 5ivers thread is really good and I have just got a brilliant idea from there to write a love note for lee on some shrink plastic so he can put it in his wallet. He never takes his wallet out as I have all the money and cards LOL Thought that counts though!!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
RustyFlange - you are very ms doing freecycle - and environmentally friendly, may I add. Like very much reading your substantial posts - mooooore pls. :T:T:T
Eeek sorry I tend to get a tad carried away
Mel I love your new pages! they are so lovely why can't I produce nice things like that!!!
Rainmac what is vaued opinions?
I have recently joined onepoll which seems ok, I also registered with panelbase which seems pants as they ask me to do a survey then tell me I am too old!!!!!(I am 25 ) and so rather than give me money they enter me into a prize draw!
I am trying to build up 60,000 points for a voucher on toluna we're almost halfway there but have run out of surveys lol ....
I also did the qype and I am waiting for my voucherRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Well after a complete disaster trying to sort out dvds/phones etc etc to send off which none happened. I am determined I will make an effort today. I am going to send off the phones and hope nothing goes wrong! as for the dvd's they will have to wait I am afraid, however I have been in the garage and sorted out a load of C**P and now have almost 1/3rd of the garage ready for a bootsale, I need to figure out where the bootsales are up here in the north east and also when they start.
I need to finish off my SIL's 18th birthday present but need to remember where I saw a pink car bucket! .... I have pretty much finished buying for easter, has cost me in the region of £30 rather than the £200 I spent last year on OH and the kids ... this £30 is for all of themwhich I am really proud of, however I need to find some bread baskets or a nice cheap basket with handle to finish it off ... I may just end up with some covered boxes and do it the MSE way.
We managed to get 3 tickets to see hotel for dogs on thursday this week (thankyou to the free cinema ticket thread) My son doesn't know yet ... Nana is babysitting for my daughter, and my partner, myself and my son will be off for a fun night out and will only cost fuel to the city centre and any nibbles we have, however *IF* I can find my card stash I want to make up a couple of popcorn cases and then I can take in my own snacks .... hidden in the depths of my mary poppins bag
Hope everyone is well and happy, and hope those on holiday are enjoying themselves
Hope you like Hotel for Dogs took dd on Sat and we both absolutely loved it, I would give it 10/10, thou could be me but have a tissue ready as theres a bit that is so sweet, I started the tears.............even better with the free tickets.
Were off to see Bolt on Wed (orange 2 4 1) the 3D version..........and dd is paying for me!! (shes only 6) xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
RustyFlange wrote: »Wow thats impressive! I doubt I would make anywhere near that amount but I got sick of putting all of the little ones clothes on freecycle and not getting any thankyous so I thought enough is enough they are all next and all in perfect condition so will get a few pennies on the boot sale, also have a lot of her toys which she is now too old for yet I can't part with them either for free as they were so expensive in the first
place!!!
I know what u mean about freecycle, I put dds playhouse on, dismantled in ready for the collector, not thank you no nothing, just moaned as there was a cobweb on it..........doh..........playhouses outside........
dont know if its any help but what I did with dds toys was put them in our local weekly paper, they have a free adds section, and touch wood everythings gone no probs.
Good luck with the carboot sales. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
