Not if customers don't pay them back'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Very true, but how many people will be in the position to keep up the repayments under the current crisis !, you'll be surprised of how many people from all walks of life have used such firms to keep things going include buisiness. it's easy for high rate interest companies to give the money when things are going good,BUT and it's a big but that eventually the Cookie crumbles..0 -
I suspect but do not know that provident will be having a great time at the moment borrowing very cheaply while still lending at appropriate risk premia... Their typical client is probably too scummy to have been effected by the crunch having not had a job in the first place! And of course most of these loans are very short term.
All supposition on my part though I hasten to add.0 -

Seriously, please stop. Nobody cares. You're posting closing prices that anyone can get from anywhere. If you're trying to show that you've made a good decision, fine - stop posting and come back in a week/month/whenever you close your position and have taken your profits. Then we can all bow down to your incredible market awareness. Until then, constantly posting closing prices is just wasting everybody's time, because you don't seem to grasp that short day to day movements in today's environment don't actually mean much.Mmmm, credit crunch.
