Just wondered if it would be a good idea to start a dedicated Stocks and Shares section on MSE, seeing that savings rates are plunging and I noticed a couple of posters had suggested it was time to move into S&S?

I'd second that. It has been a few years now since I made any share purchases and I am sure things have changed somewhat. I still have my Halifax share dealing account and wouldn't mind a dabble.0
