Yeah it's been ignored cos you're giving the OP duff advice. You really think that paypals t&c will override the bank own rules on CC payments ? Have some commonsense, if the OP lets it go through of course no one will query it, if he says it's an unauthorised payment the bank will do the chargeback for him because paypal do not have authorisation for a £900 payment even if their terms state they can grab as much as they want whenever they want.0 -

You might want to read up about payments made via credit card, start with a continuous payment authority search and then maybe you will see why people are saying what they are saying.

Authorising a regular payment off a credit card known as a ‘Continuous Payment Authority’ is much more dangerous a bank account ‘direct debit’. !The problem is you can’t cancel it, only the company its set up with can. !
This is the type of payment we sign up for when we sign the paypal T and cs, payments to be taken by the company and not necessairly sent individually by the owner of the credit card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'd be very suprised if the bank considered £900 to be a regular payment and part of any CPA0

Read around the subject on a google search. It depends on what you authorise the credit card company to do.
If for instance I pay for my tesco shopping as a one off using my credit card they cannot later take more as it was a one off payment. If I set up an order to a company like paypal which states they can take payment as required then that's where the difficulty starts.
However, you are of course perfectly entitled to your view that all the OP needs to do is ask the credit card company to reclaim the money and all will be well. However I am entitled to my opinion that says you are wrong to give that false hope.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It would be very unlikely the op would be successful with a c/card chargeback to paypal as paypal will just represent the chargback with their reasons, which will be that the money was claimed from c/card by them as the op sent goods to a 3rd party address. No credit card company will proetect against fraud if the goods have been sent to a 3rd party address im afraid.0

OP you dont have much of a case imo, bpayp;al and/or ebay have done nothing wrong,0

Paypal don't give a damn! I had £53 credit on paypal which simply vanished, not a trace! I ended up not paying some ebay fees as a protest and had some scum debt collectors harrassing me.
Won't ever touch ebay or paypal again!0 -
