'is there a reason why, when SPAM has been noticed and reported it cant be removed or perhaps put in its own department somewhere so it is out of the way? I opened one yesterday, some ridiculous thing with the title of something like As seen on Oprah, as expected, it was a money making scam for some individual. Perhaps it can and does get sent off somewhere else that i havent come across yet.

Spam will get removed by the abuse team (only if someone reports the thread/post though!) or sometimes by the relevant Board Guide. I think it then gets made into spam fritters to feed the MSE team...
