BB, my mum's dog is being treated for possible mange, he kept tearing clumps of fur out. My parents live near to the countryside, so could be down to foxes. Cost a fortune for the treatment, as he is a big dog (overweight too).

Looks like I caught it right at the beginning. Vet said it was probably caught about a week ago. There's nothing around his ears etc, just this one 'lump' and small bald patch.........I don't think he is over the humiliation of a thermometer up his bum, I keep getting snotty stares off him :rotfl:

The vet was dead right about his weight - the receptionist said the stuff is sold by weight, so I popped him on the vet scales and he is 26.9kg, so 1.9kg over the top of his weight chart. He was such a skinny boy as a puppy, but as the vet said - springers can get a bit tubby as they are hunting dogs and are able to yomp for miles.

No, she is staying up there. WE are moving into a bigger house because of impending arrival. I dont know where my immediate future is gonna lie so its best all round for the moment that she stays put.

My sex education consisted of my Mum saying one day: 'Do you know how a woman gets pregnant? The man puts his willy...............in the man.'
Dear god, I've sooooo been doing it wrong  :rotfl:

Oh Lou, I havent read the rest of the thread yet, but thats a difficult one eh. He is 13, has raging hormones, has probably just discovered that the 1000th masturbation story isnt true; i.e. it hasnt fell off, and he has a 17 year old slapper who is taking him into territory where he has never ever been before and its probably exciting. I agree with you that he is only 13 BUT as his mother you will decide how you respond is the most appropriate and if that is compleltly cutting him off then so be it BUT receommending condoms or at least talking about them maybe a sensible thing to incorporate as well. I am trying to remember when I was 13 and what I was doing. I'd been with a few girls, had the odd fumble but certainly no sex, I think I was scared TBH. I hope it goes or has gone well x x x
