Pontins or Park Using Tesco Clubcard Deal Tokens

Hi! I'd like to use our Tesco Clubcard Deal Tokens for a holiday in July for our daughter's 2nd birthday. We'd like to go to Butlins but we don't have enough deal tokens and we don't like to pay extra. We'd like to go to either Pontins or Park Camber Sands. Can you please advise which would have better standard of accomodation and facilities? There will be 4 of us adults (including nan and grandad
and our daughter. We will just be taking public transport and Camber Sands is the most accessible to us. Any comments and suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks!

We have been to Pontins for years and loved it but last year was a disaster! We complained onsite (about many things) and were told put it in writing to head office. So I did when I got home and got a pathetic reply about these things are hard to sort once you have left the centre!! !!!!!!!!!
I would now avoid them like completely!!
We have Tesco deal vouchers and have been thinking about a holiday but see Haven isnt on it anymore. Pontins a no no as above and Butlins too far away so guess we stumped!Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -
I know this is an old thread and they have probably booked their accomodation now, but Pontins seems rather dated from the outside
Park Resorts at Camber can look rather waterlogged in parts, but I guess it's the best out of the two options? Thanks for your reply Tarry. No, we haven't booked it yet. We're looking at other options as well. Thanks for your input!0

personally i would not go to any of the parks in camber sands, both pontins and park, are run-down, and the sites are in no-mans-land, so not really any good for someone using the bus (unless you plan to stay onsite the whole time)
Find the extra money and go to Butlins, or choose a different pontins/park resort

Or what about looking at park holidays if it is a possiblity? http://www.parkholidaysuk.com/ There is one at Rye Harbour and there is a bus down to the caravan park? The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

We stayed at Pontins Camber Sanda a few years ago & there are bus stops just outside the side gate (by the mini market), & we had no problems going to Rye & Hastings by bus. Sorry can't remember where else the buses run to but staff at Camber should be able to help if you ring for information.
There is quite a few threads somewhere discussing Camber (think they are the Sun £9.50 or free pontins holiday ones). We enjoyed it - we won a free holiday :j so it was a great suprise to my kids & the chalet, though basic, was spotless. The staff were helpful & the bluecoats that year were excellent with the kids.
I'm sure it helped that the weather was beautiful!& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

The buses run to Dover and Hastings from Camber.

have you looked on tripadvisor? (tripadvisor.com). Put camber sands in the search box. It is interesting reading!
I was wanting to book a Parc holiday with deals tokens but reading reviews I will keep my money!0
