Barclays cash card account

hello again,

Does anyone know if i can have 2 cash card account. I already have one but i wanted another one for my spending, coz it comes with a Visa debit card. Maybe Barclaysmanager might be able to help or anyone who works for Barclays.

or which other bank gives a visa debit card on a basic account??

Other basic accounts I know of come with a Visa Electron and the Yorkshire Bank Readycash comes with a Maestro

Why not just ask for a Visa debit card in place of the cash card you have on your cash card account, they will issue you one on the same account.

LTSB Cash Account - VISA debit
Halifax/BOS - VISA Electron
Co-op - VISA Electron

The above accounts as similar to your Barclays Cash Card Account (i.e. basic bank account).

I would suggest LTSB, as they only need to bring one form of ID (i.e. passport or driving license). They will check the voters roll for your address.

Barclays also only requires one form of ID (passport or photocard driving license, full or provisional.)

In addition, Barclays also accepts bankrupts, which most banks do not (it's us and the Co-Op, basically.)

Currently have barclays cash card account, had it for a while, The sort code is 20-20-50 so registered to the bank alfreto beleive,

Had it for a year or so, Not realy used it though as wanted debit card at time of ordering,

I would like the visa debit card, Is it simple to request or do you have to credit check, Already hold a visa electron with another bank and 2 credit cards both visa, If barlcays would issue me one then i would use as my main account,

It's not credit scored at all. It's a card that requires authorization for every purchase, so there is virtually no risk to it. You can ask in branch to switch it over.

ok excellentay , Thanks for the help spoke to india earlier on phone banking, said needed credit check, think he was confused over what i wanted

Ring this number tomorrow they will order you a Visa Debit for you 08456075001.
