Well it seems like it's not going alphabetically by surname, I'm wondering if it's by area?

it will be by area who ever pays your benefit unless dla just depends how quick local offices are

I think they may be working their way through specific benefits - I got the £60 with my Carer's Allowance today but my daughter didn't get hers on her DLA last week.

It seems they are paying people on the state pension and CA first and then moving on to other benefits.

I am now expecting my daughter's DLA £60 in her next payment in February.
  • Hello just wondering if anyone can help me as I am pretty new to all this. At the end of November we were successful in claiming the middle rate DLA for my 1 year old son. I also receive carers allowance for him, I think we received the £10 christmas bonus but not sure. Are we entitled to the £60 bonus and will we get it with both dla and carers or only one? It will really help with all the extra heating we have been using recently. Also does anyone know if we will be entitled to cold weather payments. As I am unable to work at the moment we are grateful for any help as you will understand! The cost alone for travelling to his hospital is a lot!! thank you in advance for any advice I may receive.
