  • sorry to seem thick, but what is this £60, I claim Income support and DLA and have heard nothing about £60. Tried to get Incapacity Benefit but was told that I was 7 months short on NI contributions, while my friend in England gets hers and has a shortfall also on her NI contributions....It's a minefield and I keep stepping on them, or would if I could walk properly.!!

Prudence decided just before Christmas that he was going to attempt to bribe a portion of the electorate and add £60 to our £10 Christmas bonus.

As far as I can tell, no-one actually got a letter telling them they were going to get it (although we still got a letter telling us about the £10.), and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how it's being paid. All anyone knows it that it's being paid out between January and March 09 (so no use in the run-up to Christmas).

It might be worth checking your bank statement to see if it's already gone in. It'll be an amount on its own - it's not actually being added to a benefit that you're getting. Some people have already had it and not realised because there's nothing to tell you what it is. Mine went in in January, but I can't now remember if it went in under my IB or DLA reference number.
