sharing files etc

right ive set up my wireless network on my old desktop and it can now connect to the internet but how do i access the files from it on this pc ?

Ok what versions of Windows are you running on both PCs?

windows xp on both

i ran some wizard on the old pc and changed set the folders i want to access to share but how do i see them from this?

You should be able to browse to them through My Network Places, or click Start, then Run then type

\\<computername>\<sharename>

e.g. \\myofficepc\documents

I have just used this very simple guide to do that. Read the latter part of the instructions as you have already done the hard bit.
