Do you get 'English' Driving Licenses? I thought they were Welsh???

No, as said take both parks of your UK license, ID not needed.
If stopped in LA by the police, open your window and put both hands clearly on the top of the steering wheel
As stated, it is technically illegal to stick anything on your windscreen such as satnav but still seen lots of people with it
