Supermarket Wages

Hi,

Does anyone know how much Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's (based in East Anglia) are paying their Stock Replenishment staff for 2009? I am thinking of applying for night work and need to know what I could earn per hour?

Any info will be much appreciated.

I left Tesco last year and was on £6.23ish but that was for days, my partner worked nights there and it worked out about £50 a night with all the different rates depending on before or after midnight and Sundays.

Asda is £6.03 for days, but can't remember for nights I think it's time & 1/3 or time & 1/5 for anything between 10pm & 6am...but I know our store has just finished all the seasonal colleagues we had (and any vacancies would of been filled by them)

I know for sainsburys the normal wage is around the £6 mark, for nights i dont know how much extra it is, maybe £1.50 more, for sainsburys recruitment its all down via the sainsburys website and not application forms

Tesco pay the same wage for nightshift staff as dayshift staff but you get a nightshift premium on top. Can't remember the rates(as I left over a year ago) but its a lower rate up till midnight then a higher rate after midnight until 6am
