Partners spending is out of control

My wife’s spending is out of control , we have already consolidated her/our debts once and took out a second mortgage effectively doubling the repayments, which leaves the household budget very tight.
I withdrew from the joint bank account because my wife was using the joint overdraft limit to the max.
She now has bank accounts in her own name and a whole host of store cards, there is hardly a week goes by when an item isn’t delivered to the house from internet shopping (she’s the E bay Queen) .
This whole situation has me so stressed out that I have been treated for anxiety induced depression, gastric problems, and I am sure I have an ulcer brewing.
She now wants to divorce, and sell the house but I am not prepared to do this as we have a child and I am not going through this personal hell to be left with no assets to my name. And I know that as a man I will be crucified in the divorce court’s.

If she is an additional card holder for any of your credit cards then cancel them NOW! To save arguements then just say to her that you lost you card so they have cancelled them both hers and your and that you are waiting for replacements.
You also need to see a solicitor asap and find out where you stand
I hope this helps you a bit.😁0 -

Not necessarily. I can assure you there is one man out there today for whom yesterdays frown has become today's biggest smile.0
