Hi,
I'm looking to get my finances organised and have been looking for Open Source Financial Software for personal use.
I've looked on google and on download.com but it's an absolute minefield.
GNUCash seems to be quite prominent but has mixed reviews.

Thanks, a good comprehensive run down, I was just a bit apprehensive of GNUcash. From looking at download.com it didn't get very good reviews (2 out of 5).
Might give it a go anyway. Thanks0 -
Do you just want to keep a list of expenditure/holdings etc? If so, there a few sites that will let you do this. People like Share.com or iii. Trustnet is the one I use althoguh I am having problems with them right now is Trustnet. The best I have ever found if you can get your head round it (very comprehensive) but too complicated for me is Microsoft Money. My son keeps all his expenditure etc on Quicken but you need to buy that one.0
