East Sussex Disability Association

Hello all,

Have posted over on the charities board but thought I would say that if anyone needs any help/advice in the South East region then feel free to give us a call

We are an impartial service (we do not sell a single thing) and have helped many people in the local area. We have a general information service, a welfare service and a coach service and for those who live near Eastbourne we also have a Disabled Living Center where people can try out any equipment ( hoists/chairs/baths etc ) so you can see what they are like before you buy them

So If its information you are after and live in the South East then please give us a ring on 01323 514521 ( Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-4pm) or visit us at https://www.esda.org.uk

I know that this wont help everyone but thought I would post it as there is not as much information out there as there should be and thought we may be of service

  • Hi thanks for that I live in eastbourne and have 2 disabled children under 5. I didn't know these places exsisted
  • Happy to recommend ESDA.

They have a really useful "showroom" of equipment and stuff for people with disabilities.
    Lots of info and brochures.

Sometimes difficult to speak to the right person - they are a charity don't forget and pretty stretched I should imagine.
But well worth a visit ( and a donation - if you can ).

    Hiya Bob

    Thankyou for the kind words

I agree we can be a bit stretched at times, we are a charity and as such only have a limited number of people that can help at one time

This is especially true with regards to the Disabled Living Center which is a very popular service and I would suggest that if you are looking for a piece of equipment that you call 01323 514500 and book an appointment to do so

As I say if anyone does want some more information feel free to email us on info@esda.org.uk and we will send you an information pack with some more details about us
