opened AA savings NOV - still get 6%? or 3.55%?

I openeda aa account in Nov - totally forgot to send off the cheque to open the account.

About to post today but notice the rate is now 3.55% - will i get the quoted rate at time of around 6.25% or todays rate? i guess as its not fixed, i get the 3.55%?

    If it's a variable rate account, you'll get the current rate.

    Even if you'd sent your cheque off earlier, the rate would now have dropped.
