BFPO recorded delivery?

I would like to send a letter with items that need either a signature or a guarantee. Would I send this recorded delivery slips like I do with Royal Mail letters or do BFPO do something different?
Many thanks in advance.

i'm sure your can still do signed for delivery to a BFPO address,
but it will not be 24hr delivery.
Also be aware that it may be the military postal service which signs for the package0 -
You can but from what i understand it only covers the item from the post offiice until its delievered into the military postal system. From there it won't be covered.0

tbh my understanding is all it would prove is it was handed over to BFPO and would prove/show when it was deliveredSend letters or packets to a member of the armed forces using Royal Mail’s HM Forces Mail, HM Forces Recorded (Signed For) and HM Forces Special Delivery.
Sending HM Forces Mail
Seal the edges of large letters and packages with good quality adhesive tape and use the special BFPO form of address.
Do not write the country of destination for BFPO addresses.
Sending HM Forces Special Delivery
If you're sending something valuable to loved ones in the forces overseas, you want to know it's going to get there safely. That's when HM Forces Special Delivery can help. This service provides a signature on delivery and compensation for loss of or damage to valuables (including money and jewellery as defined by Royal Mail which may only be sent by Special Delivery). It is only available to and from BFPO numbered addresses. Advice of Delivery is not available.
Use your own envelope to send Special Delivery items to HM Forces overseas, but you must send items containing money or jewellery (as defined by Royal Mail) in Special Delivery prepaid envelopes, available from your local Post Office™ branch.
If you are sending important mail to an address without a BFPO number you should use International Signed For™ or Airsure® at normal postal rates..
When sending HM Forces mail, the same maximum size dimensions that apply to Royal Mail’s international services also apply. These are smaller than Royal Mail’s domestic size limits and are as follows:0 -

Hi G&T
I used to work for the Postal & Courier Regt when I was in the army, if you send a recorded delivery item it can certainly get lost so if this is something that you value? then I would send it Special Delivery, this replaced the "Registered" mail, and this method guarantees it every step of it's journey, all the recorded delivery gives you is a signature upon receipt, both can be picked up by the unit mail clerk, you then have to hope that they pass it to the correct recipient, although the Forces Post Office (BFPO) will have a signature from that clerk anyhow to show that it was passed to him.
