Why does router keep starting PC?

I am using a Belkin wireless router as an access point only to stream to my media player, but it keeps restarting my PC. No idea why, the media player is switched off and it's definately the router as the PC stays off if I disconnect it.
Any ideas please? I have looked through the routers settings and there is nothing in there about keeping the PC switched on or bringing out of standby.

Interesting one that. Check your BIOS settings on your PC for WOL (or WuOL) which is Wake On LAN. It could be that something being sent out by the Belkin is being taken by your machine as a "Magic Packet" and starting it back up again. I'm assuming you dont use WOL so there should be no harm in disabling this in the BIOS.0
