Can anyone reccomend a good plasma TV preferbly 42". Resolution has to be good (over 1024 x 702). I recently bought the bravia 50" from Argos but the quality is poor. So can anyone reccomend a good resolution TV for under 2k.

I can certainly recommend Panasonic, superb picture, given a good source obviously.
Head over to avforums.com, for all the advice and help you'll ever need.

Only two to have for the money are Panasonic THpv500 or Pioneer 8 series.
Got the Panasonic just before Xmas and it's bl**dy marvelous in fact I've got my laptop plugged in to it now while I type this.Make sure you Price match John Lewis though to get the 5 year warranty just in case cos' there are a few lemons out there.
P.S. again go to AVForums for the best advice around ,I did and I joined and post every day now.I am not young enough to know everything.

Heartily recommend the following model. Purchased it last June for approx £1,500 and have been extremely pleased with it.
