Hi, just got a grandstream 486 and i am trying to get it to work with sipgate.
it seemed to be working great at first, then for some reason i decided to update the firmware to the lastest from the grandstream site.
now all i am getting is the flashing red light
is anyone else using the latest firmware with sipgate?
any help would be greatly appreciated

update:
well i reset the 486 again and got it workin! woohoo
only thing is when i set a static ip it stops working! i put 255.255.255.0 in the subnet and tried putting 192.168.1.1 in default router and tried leaving it blank but would not work.
i could not get it to ring either, but i changed the on hook voltage to 48v and the phone rings now and i get called id!
anyone got any idea why i can not use a static ip? also i dont have the ports fowarded now and am not using dmz like i thought i had to?0 -
