Which card is best for me?!

I'm new to credit cards, therefore i don't know too much about them.
I need the card purely for online purchases, there's so much online theft these days it's scary! I just want to be covered incase it ever happens to me. Any advice on the right card for me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could try a prepaid card as you dont need a credit rating

Agree with pokerface,

These prepaid cards have limited personal info on them and are limited to the amount you want which is reassuring if you are concerned about security.

Thanks to both of you, up until now i had never even heard of pre paid cards!
I will most certainly look into to them.
