Seven year old looking for cheap wireless printer

My seven year old is looking for a wireless printer so that she print out colouring sheets from her laptop. Does anyone know where she can get a cheap printer from (I say cheap as she is using her christmas money £50) Im not sure if she will be able to get a wireless printer for that much but im sure someone will know what bargains are around and preferably with inks that are not too expensive to replace. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to get a lexmark from PC world, I was in looking the other day for any deals and saw a wireless printer for about £48 the downside is Lexmark ink is expensive. I have looked at other options like a print server and any printer connected to the router but nothing else is on budget. How much does she need wireless printing? there are some reasonable offers on for all in one machines with usb connectivity, you could then buy a wireless usb adaptor for it in the future if she wants wireless printing.

Just remember that cheap isn't necessarily cheap because the low end printers will use up ink quicker than the slightly prcier ones makeing the costs add up in the long run. Make sure you check reviews on the life of the ink cartridge.

Offer oftheday.co.uk (no spaces) will have printers which you can list by price.

  • The printer may be be cheap but 1st consider availability of cheap clone print cartridges otherwise any initial savings will be wiped out very quickly
  • I've only ever had 1 lexmark printer, I could never afford to run another!
look for other options, pretty sure tesco were doing a hp or epson wireless printer before xmas for around £50

Quite agree with DBE.. Lexmark are cheap to buy, but bl**dy expensive to run! :D

Been some good offers on HP's at Argos and Staples, etc in the "Grab It Now" Section, although buried a little, worth a look.... ;)
