    Nice price for in-store. 2100mAh aren't the best capacity for AAs, but for under 2 pounds are well worth getting.

    Yes and OK, this is an offer that repeats every six months or so, got some about a year ago, but you will have to queue on the 26th to get them. Usually have a charger on offer around a fiver with built in timer, also Tronic. Tronic is just a badge used by Lidl.
    Aldi regularly do the same offer/price with different name/make, They have always gone before I get there.

    I've got some AAs - Didn't have to queue but theysold out quick by the first day. Haven't noticed any problem with them.

    Also got a charger for £2.99 if I remember correctly!
  • Poundland often has packs of 4 x AA rechargeable batteries - got some more today they had loads in. They seem to be fine, I use them in my digital camera. They're called OSEL batteries.

    Netto are doing a charger for £3.99 with 4 x AA batteries, will also charge AAA batteries.
