Best Credit Card for 20/21 year old who earns under £20K?

As above - he needs it quickly too.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks:)

I've applied for Virgin, Natwest and Egg and have been turned down for all three. I'm 23 and earn under 20k. Not really sure what to do now... I was accepted for a HSBC Mastercard because I have a current account with them, so maybe he could try applying with his bank first. I would love to transfer my balance but it seems I'm not an attractive candidate at the moment!

    Barclaycard Initial/Capital One/Vanquis

Note last 3 are 'credit builder' cards and should be paid off in full as interest rates are pretty dire!
