Can anyone recommend a good Veg box scheme in Brighton, I know there are lots of local ones in Hove, but no idea which is best. Also I read on the Old Thread about a Portland Road Veg man? Is he worth a visit!

The veg man in portland road is worth a visit - but he's closed for 3 months now (apparently he shuts up every winter) ;)

    So don't go yet !!!

Not sure when he opens but I think EL or BB know and will probably help out :D

Has anyone recently been to a good Indian or Thai restaurant that they would recommend?

Going back to the Sainsburys/B&Q question...there is a Sainsburys and a B&Q together in a retail park in Lyons Way Worthing (off the Sompting Bypass A27). Not sure of the opening hours of the Sainsburys though and it's not exactly Brighton & Hove I know!

Sainsburys is about 10pm, certainly not 24 hours for sleepy old Worthing!
  • rceived by email newsletter.. wenton the old(?) B&H thread by mistake.. spread the good news!
