Thanks Clanbailey
Your post has helped me loads already, thank you. I think I have to wait till after next payday then. Please let me know when you get your coop acount sorted. is it just Child Benefit you need to change now or salary too? if so when is your next payday? I'm guessing it won't be before the 9th? is you BR by appointment? or can you defer until they sort it.
I changed my CB in Nov as my HSBC account was in such a state it would have fallen into a black hole and it took them a month from to sort it I lost 1 payment  .
I hope it all works out keep chatting someone will have an answer or direction for both of us.

My co-op account took a wk to set up. I did have a joint abbey account with OH which i had my name take off 2 days before bc. The OR never touched it. Even if your account IS set up before bc and you declare it, the OR does not usually bother with it provided it is a basic account. Can i ask are co-op one of your creditors?Free impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

They may have processed your application by Friday, even if they haven't sent anything out. Did they give you a reference number to quote if you phone? They may be able to give you your account number and sort code in time if you call them on Thurs/Fri.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Sorry sorry sorry to keep going on but you think you have it sorted in you head then another question springs up.
This has probably been answered before but I can't seem to find it....
if you go BR late in the tax year is there a chance that your Nil tax code is applied from next tax year?
or is it absolutley always the tax year you go BR? for instance what happens to the perons made BR on March 30th.
Thanks guys:o

Don't apologies for asking!
The tax code can only be applied for the tax year in which you go BR, never the following year. I went BR 27th March and didn't have a nil tax code at all. HMRC did write to my employer and ask how much tax I'd paid from the beginning of the 2007 tax year to my BR date, and from my BR date to the date of the letter. The letter just said they were reviewing my account, it didn't give anything away!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

My OH gets paid every 4 weeks, we just put that down as his monthly salary, OR has never questioned it.
I would be tempted to stick the travelcard costs in with the petrol TBH, the OR doesn't go into detail as to exactly how you get to work. Otherwise they may want to get rid of the car.
Yes, put your parking permit down too. I doubt they will think it's too high, it's not a huge % of your salary. If you were earning half of what you do they might question it.
Thanks PP
A while back you replied to my post with the above. I get paid 4 weekly too. I'm just wondering when your OH went BR have they still not mentioned it?
DO you have periodic reviews through out BR?
Thank you0 -
Once they have dealt with all your creditors then that tends to be it.If you are being considered for ED then you will be sent a new IPOQ form to fill out and fill in.
During your bankruptcy you are legally obliged to inform the OR of any changes to your income but that's it.Namaste DeeDee x0
