new to credit cards

Hi i have just had my first credit card and my first bill is now due now i was wondering can i still use my credit card or do i need to pay my first months bill in order to carry on using it.

Hi,

If you have not used up all of your available credit then you can continue to use the card as per normal, but remember

• If you make only the minimum payment by the due date you will have an entire months interest added to the balance of your card
• If you do not make even the minimum payment to the card by the due date then you will be hit with a late payment charge and the entire months interest

However, if you pay the complete balance off by the due, date you will then have this balance available to use after the payment has cleared.

Yes you can, but make sure you have enough available Credit Limit.
