Boots Bargains

Nipped into town as had to pop to the bank today and, after a look in WHSmith (lured by garish red/yellow CLEARANCE) signed decided to have a look in Bootses seeing as everyone raves about what you can get so much - personally I hate the store but anything for a bargain - next christmas's stocking fillers are pretty much sorted now thanks to Boots and WHS.

Here's what I got:-

Smirnoff Vodka cocktail kit with ludicrously sized glass - £5
Set of "votives" (candles in glass holder) - nice gift - £5
Stella gift set - big bottle and bottle opener in tube - £5
Malibu Gift Set with scottie dog ice tray - £4
Nice tealight holder with tealights - ££2.5
Purple glass vase - £2.50
Mini Fragrance Set - £2
Whisky gift set incl 2 x shot glasses, golf tees and ball - £2.50

In addition to this I got a £5 No. 7 voucher and 145 points!

Not bad eh?

in my local boots some of these where reduced even lower so pays to have a good mooch lol :rotfl:

I think they discount differently dependent on location - with Cambridge being (unfortunately) quite a wealthy town they probably reckon they don't need to discount as much. For years the two ASDAs in Bradford had different prices because one was nearly next door to a Netto and the other didn't have any competition excepy from Morrisons :mad:

Think that's changed now

yeah i find that total rubbish if ya ask me should be set prices.

Back to the main subject i bought

Vodka shot fridge originally £10 reduced to £5 i paid £2.50
Stella Bottle opener thingy i paid £3
Simpsons marshmallow fridge £1.50

Although my vodka one isn't a fridge thing its like a huge Vodka Martini glass with a cocktail recipe book or something in it.

Still pleased with my buys - saves money off next year's xmas shoppinig
