  • In my Sainsbury's on Saturday they had some Spa gift sets well reduced (£10 to £2.50 and £7 to £1.75) but, unfortunately, they weren't the Champneys! I too have my eyes open for those coming down in price! Is it wishful thinking?! I also got some lovely luxury foil wrapping paper down to 50p a roll.

That's a good idea, what with the price of butter. Wonder if there'll be any left now  . Any ideas what I can do with some Waitrose clotted cream with liquer chocolate that was reduced to 10p a pot so I bought four pots:o (I thought they were individual desserts but each tub serves 8 - hubby and I had one between us  before someone read this out from the side of the pack!). Doesn't say you can freeze it, although useby date isn't until 13 January. It was quite sickly the amount we had needless to say.

Can't help with what to use it for, but clotted cream can be frozen for up to one month (you can check this out on the BBC Good Food website here). This may hopefully give you time to research some recipes. Sounds delicious by the way
